26th annual Stand for Children Day

Stand for Children Day - Sponsor, Vendor, and/or Volunteer Registration

It’s time to mark your calendars for the 26th annual Stand for Children Day! This year’s event will be Thursday, June 20 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Bowling Green Ballpark. The rain date is June 21. Stand for Children Day provides fun activities for children while also providing information to families and caregivers about services available in our community. Families, summer camps, and childcare centers attend free of charge and bring children to play at numerous booths and activities manned by area agencies and businesses. Set up begins at 7:30 a.m. Gates will be closed to vendors at 8:30 a.m. (Please, please, please be on time so we can move buses in and out!) Pull up to the main gate first thing in the morning and our volunteers will help you unload. Make sure to check in at the Vendor Check-in to find your space inside the stadium. Then, move your vehicle to the parking structure. We ask that you furnish your own tables, chairs, and tents (if available). If you have a tent and can bring it on the day of the event, please let us know in advance. By doing so we can utilize more of the space we have available. All tents must be freestanding and can be weighed down. Remember to keep the activities as hands-on as possible and please only bring things that will not leave traces behind! Do not bring gum, taffy, etc. that the children will leave stuck to seats, sidewalks, etc. The Hot Rods staff will recycle any cardboard boxes that you flatten and leave behind. Snacks and water will be provided throughout the event, courtesy of our sponsors. This is year #26 and whether you are a service-related agency, education-related entity, or business that touches the lives of children, this is a great place to connect with families and children in our community.
