Overview & Mission
Safe Seats | Safe Kids will operate as an interactive educational program designed to empower caregivers with the skills to install their children’s car seats. We will provide complimentary seat checks and educational workshops for our local community, primarily conducted at our office.
DID YOU KNOW…
- Our community is without a designated facility to check car seats to ensure they are installed correctly.
- According to Buckle Up for Life, only 1 out of 4 child car seats are properly installed in the U.S. That means 75% of child safety seats are improperly installed.
Community Education currently employs one certified child passenger safety technician (CPST); by year-end, we hope to add a second.
Seat Checks

Interested individuals (parents, guardians, grandparents, babysitters, etc.) seeking a seat check will need to complete the online request form, by clicking the button below. Upon receipt of the form, our Certified Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) will schedule a car seat check.
