Community Education’s goal is to provide a safe and engaging summer program at minimal cost to participants. Fun and enriching activities are planned for the following developmental areas: self and social awareness, creative expression, cognitive expansion, physical development and recreational pursuits. Super Summer Club serves children who have completed grades kindergarten through 3rd. Camp Extreme serves children who have completed grades 4th through 8th.

Summer All-Day Programming Staff

Summer all-day program personnel can work at Super Summer Club (for grades k-3) or Camp Extreme (for grades 4-8). Positions vary at each camp.

Applicants wanting to work in the summer all-day programs must be available from 7 a.m.—6 p.m. (hours can vary daily between a.m. and p.m.) each weekday.

Summer All-Day Programming Instructors

Would you love to teach the fun part of your subject area that you just can’t get to during the academic year? Come teach it at one of Community Education’s two summer programs: Super Summer Club (for grades k-3) or Camp Extreme (for grades 4-8).

Must be a certified teachers to serve as enrichment instructors. For more information, check out the below “Summer Instructor: Information Sheet”.

2019 SCHOOL-AGE SUMMER PROGRAM INFORMATION

Super Summer Club and Camp Extreme begins Tuesday, May 28 and continues through Aug. 2 (except for July 4). Hours for the camps are 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily.

Both Super Summer Club and Camp Extreme will be at the Bowling Green Learning Center at 503 Old Morgantown Road.

Part-Time Weekly Enrollment: we are only accepting spots for the waiting list at this time. Please call office for more details.

Early bird enrollment is $30 per account (non-refundable) by 4 p.m., May 3. Early bird applicants will receive a camp t-shirt. $60 per account after 4 p.m. May 3 or later and applicants may not receive a t-shirt.

Payment Options

We offer a variety of ways that you can pay to enroll your child for our services and/or your monthly fees.  Below is a list of payment options for you to choose from:

  1. If you are a current client, you should already have access to your MyProcare parent portal (you can click here to be taken to MyProcare parent portal.) You can go to that site and make your payment at this time.
  2. If you are a new client, we will send you a link to your MyProcare parent portal after we process your application so that you may register and pay that fee online. If you have any questions about that registration process or have any difficulty making that payment, please contact our office at 270-842-4281.
  3. If you do not want to register for an online account, you can call our office and pay your enrollment fee over the phone using your debit or credit card at 270-842-4281.
  4. Payments by cash, check, or credit card will also be accepted in our office.  We are located at 1227 Westen Street, Bowling Green, KY 42104.
