Art Extravaganza is an artwork exhibition for local amateur artists and photographers who have previously taken classes with Community Education.  During the month of February, submitted photographs and artwork will be displayed at the Bob Kirby Library branch.  Patrons of the library will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite art pieces for “The People Choice” award category and winners will be announced at an award ceremony on Saturday, February 24 at 11:00 a.m. Judged awards in additional categories also will be presented at that ceremony.

Registration Deadline:  Wednesday, January 24

Cost: $20 (up to 2 pieces of artwork)

Artwork Submission Drop-off: Wednesday, January 31 at the Bob Kirby Library Branch

Award Ceremony Date:  Saturday, February 24

Prizes: 1st Place prizes are $50 gift cards for each category, ribbons will be given for 2nd and 3rd place winners

Award Ceremony:  11 a.m.

Artwork Pick-up: Saturday, February 24 immediately following the award ceremony; artwork must be picked up by noon that day

Registration payments can be mailed to or dropped off at the Community Education Office at 1227 Westen Ave., Bowling Green, KY 42104.
