Community Education will offer its all-day summer programs for 2017, and registration for those programs has begun. The Super Summer Club for children completing grades K-3 and Camp Extreme for children completing grades 4-8 are being offered, beginning May 30 and continuing through August 4, except for July 4, Independence Day. Hours for the camps are from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. daily. Super Summer Club will meet at the BGISD’s Professional Development and Learning Center (PDLC). Camp Extreme will meet at Briarwood Elementary School at 265 Lovers’ Lane from May 30-July 21, and at PDLC from July 24-August 4.
Parents may register their children for these programs on a weekly basis at a cost of $125 per week. Breakfast, lunch and a snack are included, and most field trips are included in the cost. You only pay for the weeks your child attends.
NEW this year to our All-Day Summer Programs is a Part-Time pilot program (limited availability). If you wish to enroll in this program you will need to contact our office at 270-842-4281 for more information on how to register.
Early bird registration is $30 per account (non-refundable) by 4:30 p.m., May 1; $60 per account after 4:30 p.m. May 1or later. Early bird registrants will receive a T-shirt; those registering after 4:30 p.m. May 1 or later may not receive a T-shirt.
